The Smart Girls! Let’s talk! initiative was created to inspire the professional development of female students at the Higher School of Economics and Computer Science. In line with this, we invite female students to participate in the trip sponsored by the WSEI Technology Park to the “Perspektywy Women in Tech Summit” conference, which will take place on June 8, 2022, in Warsaw.

The program, developed by the WSEI Technology Park, addresses the rapidly changing job market conditions and the expectations of young women who want to start a career in the IT sector. Participation in the international conference provides an excellent opportunity to analyse employers’ market trends and establish new business contacts. To participate, students must be enrolled at WSEI and fill out and submit the application form, including a declaration of participation, to the Organizer’s email address (parktechnologiczny@wsei.edu.pl). The deadline for submitting the forms is May 27, 2022. The university will finance the participation of 10 students in the event.

The selection process for the participants in the initiative will be as follows:

• Priority will be given to students who received a scholarship for the 2020/2021 academic year.
• Subsequent applications will be evaluated based on the average grades from the winter semester of 2021/2022.
• In case of a tie in average grades for a spot, priority will be given to the student who has engaged in additional activities within the university, such as being a member of a scientific club or student council.
